Sex & Intimacy Therapy
Creating space for intimacy, honesty, and renewal
Reconnecting through intimacy
Sexual connection can be one of the most exhilarating, nourishing and vulnerable parts of a relationship, yet it’s often where pain, disconnection, or shame quietly take hold. Therapy offers a safe, compassionate space to explore your intimate life with honesty and curiosity, free from judgement or pressure.
Choose sex & intimacy therapy if you’re:
Experiencing differences in desire or avoiding sexual contact
Living with pain or discomfort during sex such as vaginismus or vulvodynia
Struggling with erectile dysfunction or difficulties reaching orgasm
Finding it difficult to relax, feel present, or stay connected during intimacy
Recovering from betrayal, infidelity, or sexual trauma
Feeling pressure, anxiety, or shame around performance or desire
Navigating changes in your sexual connection after childbirth, illness, or menopause
Longing to rediscover pleasure, confidence, and authentic connection
Rediscovering pleasure, safety, and connection
Intimacy isn’t only about sex.
It’s about trust, presence, and the ability to be fully yourself with another person. When sex becomes distant, mechanical, or fraught with tension, it often reflects something deeper that’s calling for attention.
Together, we’ll explore the emotional, relational, and physical layers that shape your sexual wellbeing, helping you reconnect with your body, your desire, and your capacity for closeness. Whether you’re experiencing sexual difficulties within a relationship, living with pain or anxiety around intimacy, or navigating the effects of trauma or past experiences, our work can support you in finding a sense of safety and aliveness again.
I also support individuals and couples who are rebuilding sexual connection after the birth of a child or finding their way back to intimacy amid the demands of parenting and family life.
“One of the most transformative areas Emma helped me with was my sexual performance anxiety. Working with Emma has been life changing”.

How we work together
Drawing on my training as a psychosexual therapist and in Relational Life Therapy, we’ll look at both the individual and relational factors that influence your intimate life. Sessions are tailored to your needs and may include gentle education, communication work, and embodied awareness to help you understand and express your desires more fully.
Together, we’ll create space for open conversation and compassionate exploration, helping you rebuild confidence, deepen connection, and rediscover pleasure in your own way and at your own pace. For some, this means weekly sessions to build awareness and trust over time. For others, immersive day long intensives allow more space for exploration and integration without needing to stop just as something important begins to open.
Your next step
If you’d like to explore how therapy could support you in this area, I offer a free 15 minute connection call. This is a chance to talk about your situation, what feels most important to you, and to see if this way of working feels right. Together, we can begin to create the conditions for intimacy that feel real, connected, and alive.
