How we work together
Couples therapy is a collaborative process, a space to slow down, listen, and begin to see each other with fresh eyes. Every relationship moves through seasons of closeness, distance, and repair. Our work together creates time and safety to explore the patterns that keep you stuck and the emotions that lie beneath them. Drawing on the principles of Relational Life Therapy, we’ll look at the dynamics and triggers that fuel misunderstanding or disconnection.
You’ll learn practical tools for clearer communication, deeper intimacy, and moving through conflict as allies rather than adversaries. Sessions create space for both partners to be honest and vulnerable, to understand each other’s perspectives, and to practise new ways of connecting that honour both your individual needs and your shared commitment.
Alongside traditional weekly sessions, I offer three hour immersive sessions and day long intensives for couples who wish to work in a more spacious, concentrated way. These longer formats allow more time to explore and integrate without the need to stop just as things begin to unfold.
Day long intensive sessions are held in person only, offering uninterrupted time and privacy for deeper exploration. Weekly and three hour immersive sessions are available both online and in person, providing flexibility to suit your needs and circumstances. The work can be challenging at times, but it’s also a chance to rediscover what brought you together and to build something more authentic, loving, and resilient.
